How does a direct cremation work in Australia from start to finish?

A direct cremation is pretty easy to organise. So, with us here at Willed Funerals, we do everything online via phone and email. So, we usually get a call from a loved one's family. We call it a first call and that's where we establish all of the details of the next of kin and the deceased in question. We'll take down some details and then we'll send out some paperwork pertaining to the cremation. We'll walk you through it. It's all online. You don't have to print anything off. And once we have your loved one's ashes back, we can either arrange to have them sent to you or you can make an appointment to come into our office and collect them. And if there's any urns or anything that you'd like to purchase, we can walk you through that as well. We can also decant your loved one's ashes into an urn of your choosing.
