Absolutely. You can wear casual clothes. I would say be mindful of how casual. I wouldn't wear sandals and board shorts or anything like that to a service. But you can definitely wear casual clothes, maybe jeans, a T-shirt, or things like that. Again, be mindful of any requirements that the family have requested. So, for instance, if the family have requested you wear purple to a service because that was the deceased's favourite colour, take that extra time to find something purple to wear. But yeah, there's no hard and fast rule that you have to wear a suit to a funeral or wear black to a funeral. In today's society, that's very much changed. I would recommend wearing something smart casual if you're unsure of what to wear to a service.
