What are the options for memorialising someone at a memorial park if the family chooses cremation rather than burial?
Cremation families can choose a memorial place without choosing a burial plot. Darren describes options at Albany Creek Memorial Park, including a bush scatter with a plaque, rose or lavender gardens, niche walls and personalised settings in landscaped grounds. A location or plaque can reflect the person’s interests and give the family somewhere to visit. Ask the park about availability, costs, tenure and any conditions before deciding; options differ between parks.
