How much does a funeral cost in Australia, and what drives the price up?

A general service, you'd be looking anywhere from about $7,000 to $10,000. If you are looking at a burial and you don't own the plot or you don't have a family plot that we can use, you would need to purchase the plot through the cemetery first and then we would make the funeral arrangements. Things that can drive up the price of a funeral service would be any extras. So, things like printing any booklets that we're doing, such as order-of-service booklets. If we were doing AV, for instance, if we're in a church that doesn't have AV capabilities, we might need to bring that in for you. That might make the price of the service a little bit higher. So, we're able to accommodate that for you. Things like coach cars or limousines can drive up the price as well. Any little extras like that, such as doves, will incur extra fees for the service.
